Identifying/improving on your potential
You may have potential in an area you have not identified. This weekend I want to encourage you to take some quiet time to do some self-discovery. Ask yourselves these questions: 1) Are you living life to your highest and fullest potential? 2) If not, why? 3) Where are you today? 4) Where do you want to be? 5) What do you believe God may be saying to you about this? Eph. 3:20 Psalm 139:13-16 Sign up for an introductory session, see if coaching is what you need to help move you forward.

Improving your skills and learn new ones.
In whatever you do, there will always be room for improvement. Investigate what that involves and see what you can do to help with your growth and development. Don't stay stuck; don't accept mediocrity; do everything and do it well. Exodus 35:31 Proverbs 4:1-10

Improving a career
The first step to improving on your growth is to make an assessment. However, you can't make that assessment by yourself. I would encourage you to ask for help from a manager or a supervisor. Why do you need to do this? To know where you want to go, you have to understand where you currently are, right now! If you're thinking about improving your career, make a one to five-year plan. Making this plan will help you more easily see the steps you need to achieve your goals. Here are some simple tips on how to make and keep a five-year plan: 1) Brainstorm your goals. Write down what you want to have, where you want to be, and the goals you want to achieve in the next one to five years. 2) Note what you can do now. What can you do today that will help to get you closer to your goals? What can you do today to get started? Whether seeking out a mentor or speaking with your boss, you should formulate an idea for immediate action. 3) Decide what you want to do next year. Not all your goals can be achieved instantly, so plan for the future. Certification in a new skill, saving up to start a business or setting a goal to begin a job hunt. Things you may be able to do over the next year. 4) Reward milestones. A five-year plan can give you the feeling f that your goals are pretty far off. Set regular milestones along the way and reward yourself when you meet them. 5) Have a regular status meeting with yourself. Evaluate your plans regularly to see what's working and what isn't. You may need to adjust for contingencies along the way, such as a new job offer or a potential job loss. Don't let a change in the trajectory throw you entirely off-course. Instead, reconfigure and set yourself on a new path to achieving your goals. Ecc. 11:6 Ecc. 9:10 James 1:5 Isaiah 48:17

Identity/self-esteem
Your identity is about how you view yourself, and your self-esteem is about the value you place on yourself. Jesus paid a high price for you to be devaluing His sacrifice. Here are some practical steps to help renew your identity. 1) Admit you are having challenges accepting yourself 2) Find out what God says about you 3) Read His word and repeat His promises 4) Dispel the lies and accept the truth 5) Pray - have that real one on one talk with God Here are some practical ways to help build self-esteem 1) Do not value yourself based on earthly accomplishments 2) Understand that outside of God, you can do nothing 3) Focus more on building your character 4) Try not to idolize yourself. Focusing too much on yourself worth can veer off into self-idolatry; learn the lesson and move on. 5) Do not absorb too much social media; this will cause you to have a false sense of self-worth because you may compare yourself up or down. #identity #selflove #selfesteem #peace #godsloveneverfails #knowyourworth #personalgrowthanddevelopment

Personal Growth and development
The conversation continues: Personal Growth and development have many facets. Today we looked at self-knowledge. Self-knowledge understands oneβs capability, character, or motives. Self-knowledge is an attribute or feature that distinguished an individual. Miguel De Cervantes said, βmake it thy business to thyself is the most difficult lesson in the world.β Small changes can make a big difference.
